At San Jacinto Elementary, character education is an essential part of our school culture. Our program promotes core values that support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth, helping them become respectful, responsible, and compassionate individuals.

We follow the Character Trait Strands, which provide a consistent framework for teaching key traits such as respect, integrity, perseverance, and kindness across all grade levels.

To bring these values to life, we focus on one character trait each month through classroom lessons, morning announcements, and schoolwide activities. Outstanding students will be recognized for their positive behavior and meaningful contributions to empowering excellence at San Jacinto Elementary. Each month, our Exemplary Character Award recipients will be announced on the Google announcements, celebrated with a festive lunch parade, and featured in a recognition photo on our campus Facebook page.
